Proposed Client: The town of Clear Lake, Iowa.
Project Brief: The task of this project was to create a conceptual identity and branded space for a city while using an informed design perspective.
To have an informed design prospective there was initial research into the town's history and current brand, interviews with Clear Lake locals to develop initial directions, and a poll of a large pool of those locals to develop the final design direction. From the interviews it became apparent that people had a diverse way of viewing their town and current branding system, but there was a common consensus to keep the sailboat as their primary symbol.
